Based in Singapore, sifr is a contemporary lifestyle brand that takes pride in engineering garments, footwear and accessories that display quality, comfort and value. The sifr Autumn Winter 2012 collection titled “Monsoon” was inspired by the thunderstorms of the monsoon season and was born from a process of reflection on the region where we emanate from.
Different aesthetics are explored with hints of Indonesian tapestry and weaving references emerging in the knits and some of the patterns. To complement and complete the look of a well-dressed man, accompanying footwear were crafted from a third generation shoe production house in downtown Jakarta, Indonesia. A palette of muted earth tones, drawn from the mood during the rainy season in Southeast Asia, is joined by a tonal spectrum of greys and blues.
